This is the perfect walking tour for short stays, or a break from a densely planned visit. Walking is by far the best way to see Prague, and our walking tour shows you most of the historically important parts of the City. One of our friendly, informative guides will lead you first on an exploration of the Old Town and the old Jewish Quarter, followed by a traditional Czech lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch you will take a river boat cruise on the Vltava with commentary and complimentary beverage. We then cross the Charles Bridge and Kampa Island, passing the John Lennon Wall and leading to Lesser Town to get on the tram going up to Prague Castle. You will walk through and around the Prague Castle complex.

Prague’s original walking, boat and tram tour of Prague

Beginning in the UNESCO protected Old Town Square, you’ll explore the Old Town with its cobbled lanes, beautiful architecture and fascinating history. See the historic synagogues and the famous Jewish Cemetery, the largest of its kind in Europe. Sample traditional Czech food and drink (included in the price of your tour) at a local Czech restaurant.

After lunch is a walk through the Clementinum, the former home of the Jesuit Order and their college, and the largest complex of buildings after Prague Castle. Here you will see its baroque churches and historical libraries before arriving at “Prague Venice”, a forty-five minute cruise on the Vltava River and Devil’s Stream, complete with tour narration, snacks and free beverages, for you to relax and enjoy the views.

Your guide will lead you next over the Charles Bridge, telling its fascinating story, before taking you to the Lesser Town with its beautiful terracotta roofs and Baroque architecture, and to Kampa Island, one of Prague’s hidden gems, where you can visit the famous John Lennon Wall.

From the main square of Lesser Town, we board one of Prague’s world-famous trams to the climb the hill up to Prague Castle and the huge Castle complex which overlooks and guards the City.

You will see the magnificent palaces and churches that make up this vast complex, including the awe-inspiring St Vitus Cathedral. Your tour concludes at the scenic overlook and the St Wenceslas Vineyard, the oldest vineyard in the city, where you wlll find stunning views of Prague.
